GDJS 2023 - Sands of time

Ancient creatures of the desert survive from the sand they collect.

Stay alive while the red sand is going through the hourglass. You can collect more sand by using the blue sand on the hourglass. The cone on the top of the hourglasses can filter out the colored sand for you.

•  Use the "mouse" to drop sand or collect back to the tank
• Use the numbers "1" and "2" to select the hourglass
• Use the "R" key to rotate the hourglass
• Use WASD or the arrow keys to move around the desert.

This is my submission for the Gamedev.js 2023 Jam. I mixed the theme "Time", having hourglasses  and inspiration from an old flash game "Sugar, Sugar" by Bart Bont.
